RALPH GRIFFIN

It is with much sadness that we share the news with you that Ralph Griffin passed away this morning. For those of you that didn’t know him, Ralph is a past Captain, Handicap Secretary and absolute stalwart of Floresta Parque Golfe Clube for many years. Such was his influence in the Algarve’s golfing community the news of his loss will be felt very deeply throughout the whole region. He is one of the few people that with huge dedication, energy and enthusiasm, over many years, shaped the success and culture of our wonderful club to become what it is today. Our love and thoughts go out to Jeanette and the whole of Ralph’s family at this most difficult of times. To them, and all that were blessed to know him, his passing leaves a gaping chasm in all our hearts.
