THE GOLF TEE TIMES ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED.WE HAVE ASKED SAN LORENZO IF THEY CAN PROVIDE EXTRA TIMES BUT THEY HAVE INFORMED US THAT THE MEMBERS HAVE THE OTHER TEE TIMES BOOKED. WE WILL CONTINUE TO LOBBY SAN LORENZO AND THEY HAVE AGREED TO GIVE US ANY TIMES THAT BECOME AVAILABLE OVER THE COMING MONTHS. WITH THIS IN MIND WE INTENDED TO START A RESERVE LIST SO PLEASE CONTACT EITHER CAROL OR MYSELF AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE

San Lorenzo Golf Resort & Dona Filipa Hotel
I am pleased to announce formally, the Captains Away Trip for 2012. We will be playing the famous San Lorenzo Golf Course on both days.
29th October
We will all start from the 1st tee, and the first group will start at10.36 am. This means that those who do not wish to travel the night before, may comfortably travel on that morning. The travel time from PDF is approximately 1 hour. If you would like to travel the day before, please remember to request your extra nights accommodation when making your booking.
30th October
On the second day, again we will all start from the 1st tee, and the first group will start at09.40 am.
In the evening there will be a Gala Buffet Dinner and Prize Giving at the Dona Filipa
What We Are Getting For Our Money
Cost Per Person for Golfers sharing a room is 310 Euros
Cost Per Person for Non Golfers is 185 Euros (inc 2 Nights B&B & Gala Buffet Dinner)
For single occupancy, a supplement of 57.50 Euros per night should be added.
The major difference between this years price and last years price is of course, the increase in IVA. Last years price was 260 Euros.
The cost of an extra night if needed is 147.00 Euros for a Double/Twin Room, and 131.00 Euros for a Single Room, this includes a Buffet Breakfast.
We have also negotiated with the hotel, a special rate for the use of the Vale do Lobo Spa & Gymnasium – 25.00 Euros per person, per day. This may be of particular
interest to some of the Ladies who do not play golf. This should be booked as early as possible.

BecauseSan Lorenzois so popular, and the hotel has tee times as a Preferential Partner, we only have 68 places for Golf Players, so please email me as soon as you are able to confirm. If we look like getting full, I can then try to negotiate more tee times.
When Do You Pay
10% when booking (to be given to Carol Newland please)
40% by July 1st (to be given to Carol Newland please)
50% by August 1st (to be given to Carol Newland please)
I am sorry that this is ‘a bit’ businesslike, but I wanted to get as much information to you in one go, in the hope you can come along and have a wonderful time atSan Lorenzo.
By the way, the 18th Hole is a ‘Killer’ !!
