AGM

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Floresta Parque Golf Club will be held on Friday 14th January 2022 in the Golf Club Restaurant at 18.00 hrs. for 18.30 hrs.
I must advise, that should there not be a sufficient number of members present or represented by proxy at the appointed time to form a required legal quorum, the meeting will be held in an adjourned session, at the same venue, one hour after the initially appointed time.

The Agenda is as follows;

1. A moment to remember members who are no longer with us
   2. Chairman’s Report
   3. Treasurer’s Report
   4. Approval of 2021 Accounts
   5. Captain’s Report
   6. Approval of 2022 Vice-Captain Nominee Duncan Leopold
2. Nominations & Election of the following committee members

(A) Chairman

(B) Secretary

(C) Treasurer

(D) Handicap secretary

8. Green fee subsidy policy approval
9. Handicap Policy
10. A.O.B
11. Date of the AGM 2023

Normally a copy of the 2020 AGM minutes would be attached to this email for you to review but  as you all know there was no AGM last year due to Covid.

The 2021 accounts will be sent by email for inspection, to all paid up Members, and will also appear on the notice board. The accounts will be available from the 5th January 2022.

Any voting Member wishing to raise any point for discussion under Any Other Business must notify the Chairman Geoffrey Harnett (gvharnett@aol.com) in writing, of his/her intention, and the contents of the point to be raised.

Nominations for the 4 posts to be voted for  under agenda point 8 should be sent to the chairman  Geoffrey Harnett  (gvharnett@aol.com) with the name of the nominee together with the names of the  nominee’s proposer & seconder by the 12^th January 2022.

With the exception of the chairman , each committee member currently holding these positions are offering themselves for re election.

Please note that only fully paid up members (2022) can attend and vote at the AGM and any proxies must be given in writing before the AGM commences.

You are invited to pay your Club Membership (€60 per Member) and/or Federation Membership (€60 per Member) fees as follows;

2. Payments can also be made through the Golf Shop by cash or cheque.
